Staff from the UMass Extension SNAP-ED Program in Raynham came to the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) office at the HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River on January 10, 2017 to videotape a series of healthy and low-cost  recipes that will be featured on a new website that is designed to be accessed on smart phones. The crew showed how to cook each of eight recipes while Steve Rys of Fall River Community Media recorded each of the steps. The video will be edited into brief shows that will be featured on a new web site. Throughout Southeast MA, seven SNAP-ED nutrition educators provide classroom education for children in elementary and middle schools in Brockton, Randolph, Fall River, New Bedford and Taunton. In addition, this same staff provides nutrition education programs to families and parents, students in after school and summer school programs, and food demonstrations at farmers' markets.
