English as a Second Language (ESOL) Program
Action Plan Participant:  Bristol Community College

Bristol Community College's ESOL Program offers beginner, intermediate and advanced level classes to teach the English language to persons whose native tongue is other than English. These courses are designed to prepare students for other courses through an introduction to the basic structures of the English language in both written and spoken forms. Students who complete the course are eligible to transfer to Adult Basic Education courses to prepare for the G.E.D. exam or to courses to prepare them to use English as a Second Language in work settings such as medical interpretation.
