Children's Reading Programs
Action Plan Participant:  Fall River Public Library

The Fall River Public Library holds summer reading events and other special programs throughout the year to encourage youngsters to read over the summer months. This is part of an ongoing effort on the part of the library to foster literacy and to get parents involved in teaching reading skills to their children. All of the programs are provided free of charge to local children; some of the costs of the programs are raised through charitable contributions.
