Heritage State Park on the banks of the Taunton River is the setting for Fall River Heritage Days commemorating the 230th anniversary of the Battle of Fall River and an annual Harvest Festival organized by the Friends of Heritage State Park. This event has been held for the past 25 years to give people from Fall River and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy the waterfront. Access to the boardwalk, benches, groves of trees, an antique carousel, public sailing programs, and a three-acre meadow are perfect for summer concerts, craft festivals and family picnics. |
