"Keeping It Safe" Project
Action Plan Participant:
Corky Row Neighborhood Association

The Corky Row Neighborhood Association serves residents of the Corky Row neighborhood, situated between Government Center, Plymouth Avenue and South Main Street. This project will build partnerships in the neighborhood with families and businesses who want to turn the neighborhood around relative to scheduled activities and opportunities for people to meet.

1, A)   Increased community policing and personal safety

Goal:

 To increase neighborhood cohesion and safety and to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood.

Method(s):

Provide publicity (flyers, mailings) for events to promote neighborhood cohesion

Timeline:          

Fall 2005 through Spring 2006

Indicators:       

Improved safety and quality of life as evidenced by neighbor reports.
