Workers' Education Program

The Workers' Education Program provides three ESOL classes a week to employees of the A. J. Wright Distribution Center at the Fall River Industrial Park. This training will enable associates to improve communication skills at work and in the union.

4, A)    Adult and out-of-school youth education

Goal:

To improve associates' communication skills at work and in the union

Method(s):

Classroom instruction and individual tutoring

Timeline:          

Classes run September-June. We are in year 4 of a 5-year grant.

Indicators:        Three classes with 18 students.
Progress: Classes completed June, 2008

Classes are located at A.J Wright Distribution Center in the Fall River Industrial Park.
