BRISTOL COMMUNITY COLLEGE

A favorite walking route in the north end of the city can be found on the campus of Bristol Community College. A quarter-mile walking path at the north end of the campus affords a quiet, natural setting within sight of the campus. Paths around and through the campus offer a variety of routes close to parking.

A walk around the perimeter of the campus and pond is a full mile (152 calories for a 200 pound person) all on flat surfaces. Additional routes on good sidewalks in the nearby neighborhood can also be accessed easily from the campus.

Starting in the summer of 2010, a Fall River Walks bulletin board will be located in the Commonwealth Center (G Building) at the northeast end of the campus. Walkers can record their walks, meet other walkers and get information about other walking locations throughout the city.
