Listed below are some of the resources in Fall River that can provide opportunities to learn about how to select and prepare a healthy diet or local resources that can help to supply a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Adult Support Group for people with diabetes An adult Support Group for people with diabetes and their family members meets at the Diabetes Association Inc., 170 Pleasant Street, Suite 100, Fall River, every third Wednesday of the month from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.
How to eat like a French woman who doesn't get fat Instruction on French cooking is available through Comforts of Home Personal Chef Service.
Downtown Market Open Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. from June to October, the Market runs from the new Fall River Justice Center to Sullivan Drive next to Government Center where half a dozen farm stands, local vendors, a food booth from CD-REC, and live music are found every Thursday.
Kennedy Park Farmers' Market Open 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday from May to November, the Farmers' Market at Kennedy Park offers a wide variety of fresh produce that can help local residents maintain a healthy and nutritious diet.
Ruggles Park Farmers' Market The Farmers' Market at Ruggles Park (corner of Seabury and Pine Streets) is open every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from June to October.
