Family Services Association of Greater Fall River 151 Rock Street, FR 508-678-7542	Family Service Association offers comprehensive outpatient substance abuse counseling including individualized assessment and therapy geared toward lasting and meaningful recovery for the chemically-dependent person. Individual, family and group therapy are provided. Services are available Monday through Friday in the clinic and on an outreach basis (Monday 9 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM). Languages include Portuguese, Spanish and Khmer. Family Service Association accepts all major insurance plans, including MassHealth. We also offer an AA Big Book group meeting on Wednesday evening, 7 PM at 151 Rock Street, Fall River. More . . .
Habit OPCO 22 Front Street, FR 508-676-1307	Habit OPCO provides comprehensive services to individuals addicted to opiates. Programs offer a full range of services: Screening/Intake; Orientation to Treatment and Patient Education; Initial Assessment ; Initial Treatment Planning and Periodic Reviews; Methadone Maintenance and Medically Supervised Withdrawal ; Counseling Services ; Case management and Referral; Medical Services; and Follow-Up and Discharge Planning. Project ASSERT Saint Annes Hospital 795 Middle Street, FR 508-674-5600, Ext. 5514	Assistance is provided on information and education on drugs and alcohol as well as assistance in locating referral to providers for treatment. Health Promotion Advocates work in conjunction with Emergency Department staff and can be accessed seven days a week by calling Dan Mahoney at Ext. 5514. Saint Annes Hospital Lifeline/Methadone Services 795 Middle Street, FR 508-235-5010	Lifeline offers both methadone detoxification and maintenance for opioid dependency (e.g., heroin, morphine, Percodan, etc.) and the following support services: One-on-one counseling; Family/group counseling; Relapse prevention and management groups; Convenient counseling and group appointments; Adolescent evaluation and substance abuse services; and Psychiatrist referral available. Stanley Street Treatment and Resources (SSTAR) 386 Stanley Street, FR 508-679-5222	SSTAR provides individual, family and group treatments for a wide range of addictions and mental health issues, including treatment for people who have both mental health issues and addictions. It also offers inpatient detoxification services for men and women who have a substance abuse problem. including a Dual Diagnosis Detoxification Service program and secure inpatient treatment programs for dually diagnosis clients.
