The first draft of the Healthy City Fall River 2004-2009 Action Plan was reviewed by the Design Team. This plan will be submitted to Mayor Edward M. Lambert, Jr. for final review, and once adopted, will be distributed widely throughout the city. The plan is based on input received from city residents during visioning sessions held throughout the city last summer and voted on last fall. The final shape of the action plan was discussed at the March 25th Healthy City Summit held at Bristol Community College. The plan will include over 40 existing activities that address five Action Priority Areas as well as a number of new activities funded by Healthy City Micro-grants to be awarded in June.
