The City of Fall River, working in cooperation with Partners for a Healthier Community,  embarked on a Healthy City Initiative to improve the overall health and well-being of the city. Visioning sessions were held throughout the City over the summer of 2003. Results from these sessions, along with drawings done at the visioning sessions, were summarized and listed at a Healthy City display on September 6th at the Bicentennial Family Day at Heritage Park. People were asked to select their three highest priority items and to volunteer to work on future projects. Those who could not participate on the 6th were able to "vote" at Government Center during the month of September or on-line at this website.
