Live music drifted through the air as several hundred people attended the Twelfth Annual Narrows Festival of the Artson Anawan and Water Streets on September 8, 2013. Work by dozens of local artisans were on display on Anawan Street and food vendors offered a range of offerings along Water Street just a block from the City's Ponta Delgada Gates, The event featured visual artists and a full schedule of musicians including Dino Govoni with the Horseneck Trio, Debo Band, Seth Walker and Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express on the outdoor stage. The indoor stage featured The Classified, Amy Black Band, Kevin Connolly Band and Danielle Miraglia. throughout the afternoon. A Children's Festival was presented by the Fall River Children's Museum. The program is supported, in part by a grant from the Fall River Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council as well as Mechanics Bank, Bank Five, BayCoast Bank, Borden & Remington Corp., and Whaling City Sound.
